The 21st EuGMS Congress take place in the vibrant and scenic city of Reykjavik, Iceland, from September 24th to 26th, 2025.

The theme for the 2025 Congress, “New Landscapes in Geriatric Medicine” reflects the evolving challenges and innovations in the care of older adults in today’s dynamic world. Together with our esteemed colleagues on the local organizing committee, the EuGMS Academic Board has crafted an inspiring and comprehensive program designed to address the latest advancements, cutting-edge research, and clinical practices in geriatric medicine.

The congress program will offer something for everyone, including clinicians, researchers, educators, trainees, and healthcare service developers. Our sessions will cover a broad range of topics, from personalized care approaches and integrative health strategies to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in geriatric care. In line with the ‘Going Green’ mission of our society we will once more make use of digital congress applications such as digital posters and an interactive congress app. Sustainability goal will be reflected in the hospitality choices. This will all take place in a setting designed to foster interactive learning and collaborative exchange, we aim to provide an enriching experience that will advance the practice of geriatrics across Europe and beyond.
