Behind the scenes in the race against COVID
Bringing the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine to the world – with over 3 billion doses distributed to over 180 countries – was a race against time, alongside the substantial challenge to encourage public uptake of new vaccines.
The chief investigator and also the senior social scientist of the Oxford vaccine team will discuss how this work got underway and what COVID-19 means for future vaccine development and adoption.
